Watch your car's real-time values
The app's Live tab shows real-time values from the engine and other modules while the car is running. The app lists the values that can be read on your car, and you pick the ones to watch.
What you can watch
Values such as RPM, temperatures, boost and fuel pressures, diesel particulate filter (DPF) load and battery voltage.
Search the list and pick your values; your choice is kept for that car, and you can go back to the defaults at any time.
Which values are available depends on the car and the module.
Which cars
on the cars 2dakika works with.
VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda; Peugeot and Citroën; Renault and Dacia; engine and transmission on BMW. On Fiat, only some older modules.
Coverage depends on the module; not every model of a make shows the same values. On some makes, some value names still appear in English, French or German.
Who can use it
- Every signed-in user with a 2dakika OBD-X1.
- Live data doesn't count toward your monthly scans; there is an hourly usage limit.
Don't use it while driving
Don't use it while the car is moving. Watch the values while the car is stationary, or let a passenger look at the screen; keep your attention on the road while driving. The app reminds you each time you open the Live tab.
